Celebrate the beauty of hummingbirds, plants, and pollinators at the Woodlands Nature Station! With as many as two hundred hummingbirds a day passing through our backyard, August is a great time to see the ruby-throated hummingbird. Join the Woodlands Nature Station, scientists, local artisans, and of course, the hummingbirds to celebrate Hummingbird Fest! Observe these backyard beauties buzzing about our native gardens, get an up-close look at our hummingbird banding station, learn how to create habitat in your own backyard, shop for native plants and avian inspired art, and enjoy games and crafts with the kids!
