North Welcome Station will be closed today September 9, 2026.

Colson Hollow will be closed for a special use permittee September 8-14, 2026.

The Elk & Bison Prairie is open, but the entry is very narrow. Vehicles over 7 foot wide should avoid entering at this time until the gate can be repaired.

August 22 - The annual Heart Ride will be traveling through LBL along the Woodlands Trace, from approximately  They will be riding through approximately from 12pm-5pm.

Visitors traveling through at that time should use caution during along the Trace.

Energy Lake Road (FS Road 134) will be open to through traffic starting Saturday, May 23. It will be closed periodically over the next few weeks for additional grading, shoulder work and eventually paving. Please check the signage before traveling through or check the alerts page for temporary closures.

Road 214 Temporary closure between roads 215 and 372 due to a failing culvert.

Due to safety concerns the bridge on FS Road 126, Davenport Bay, is temporarily closed. Visitors can access Guy Lady and Sardis Cemeteries from FS roads 124 and 125.

Road 172-C is temporarily closed to Jones Creek boat ramp. Downs 2 Cemetery can be accessed on road 351.
